KANGAS AND BASKETS: Dimensions: m(wide) x m(height)
Kathryn Katuti Osano
I experiment with different media and techniques when creating watercolour, acrylic and textured paintings and paper mosaics. I have explored different expressions of art, ranging from formal to conceptual artwork and human figures to landscapes.
KANGAS AND BASKETS
This painting has been inspired by the Kanga, which is an extremely popular fabric in Kenya and is worn daily by most women. They say that every woman should own a basket and a thousand kangas.
